Cases for Baseballs

June 3rd, 2014

Sports memorabilia is wildly popular with today's collectors but there was a time when the notion of collecting a player's signature meant something more than simply its dollar value. Sports players were sometimes looked upon as heroes, based on their actions that went above and beyond their on-field heroics. It was their actions off the field that garnered admiration, by sacrificing their time, money, and well-being towards the betterment of others. And if all this can be expressed by a simple signature on a baseball, it deserves to be preserved for future generations.

glass showcases

May 19th, 2014

We all know the reputation of Venice's Murano Glass artists. Their glass-making is renowned the world over, not only for vases and stemware but also for sculpture. The glass industry in Italy also extends to designing retail fixtures, namely display cases. Marrying European design with the transparency of glass, our Italian manufacturers have come up with our own line of showcases, EuroVu. These retail displays feature wheels for easy placement as well as frameless tempered glass construction. There isn't a better way to highlight your merchandise than with Italian style!

Pedestal Display Cases with Lombardi Trophy

May 6th, 2014

The Vince Lombardi trophy, handed to the winner of the Super Bowl each year, started life as a sketch on a cocktail napkin. Five decades later it is easily one of the most recognizable trophies in the sports world. The trophy is fabricated with 7 lbs. of solid silver and, like many other awards of its type, needs to be displayed in a dust-free environment. This is where a trophy pedestal comes to the rescue. These display cases raise the object to a comfortable viewing height, while also providing a 360° view. What better way is there to single out an important award while protecting it from fingerprints?

Small Showcases for Countertops

April 18th, 2014

Floor-standing display cases take all the credit by being able to hold a lot of items. In a retail setting however, this can create a problem for the shopper and seller. Display too much and the shopper has a difficult time zeroing in on the items until their eyes give up. Conversely, show too little and your display cabinet will receive nary a glance. The seller needs to achieve a delicate balance with the number of objects displayed. Many choose smaller countertop cases just for this reason. These cabinets sit at eye level and never overwhelm the viewer. They're also excellent choices for highlighting specific merchandise near point-of-sale locations.

Extra Wide Trophy Cases

April 2nd, 2014

High schools and colleges like to show off their awards and accomplishments. This not only provides a visible record of their past sports history, but also improves bragging rights. This is especially true of underclassmen touring college campuses. Seeing their trophies is one way the school projects its worthiness and pride. They let the trophies speak for themselves. While we don't sell big custom installations that run for 30 feet, we do stock extra wide display cases that stretch more than six feet in length. They are the largest styles of showcases we sell, ready to help your school win the "who's better" debate.

Small Display Case

March 21st, 2014

Small collectibles and valuables often need protection from everyday dust. But how does a little extra security sound? Standard dust covers simply rest over the item. Instead opt for an enclosed, locking case that offers much more! These feature an extremely slim framework that is made from extruded aluminum. Clear acrylic plastic panes slip into the channels and screws secure the assembly together at each corner, effectively "locking" your valuable collectible inside. These sharp display cases come in black or silver aluminum finishes.

Showcases Full of Glass

March 10th, 2014

Traditional heirloom cabinets are made like furniture; framed with solid hardwoods that feature decorative mouldings. These are quite nice to behold and they do a great job of displaying china, antiques, and other mementos handed down by the family. However, in a commercial setting the parameters for using a display showcase differ considerably. Here the emphasis is on selling merchandise so the most important aspect is visibility. Modern retail fixtures take this to the extreme by building cabinets made up of 95% glass. You read that right. The sides, doors, and top feature plates of tempered glass secured together with metal clamps that offer unhindered viewing for your customers!

Retail Sales Counters

February 27th, 2014

Retailers like to think their store's floor plan is open to wild interpretation. But this is furthest from the truth. Careful consideration must be applied to store layout design. There must be a central command station where customers can quickly ascertain where to get help or pay for a product. And this is where the "cash wrap" or sales counter is best utilized. These showcases often sit side by side to create an enclosed space for the workers inside, with the customers outside. And yet, this boundary is where a lot of sales originate. Retail counters can hold a lot of merchandise so customers normally gravitate towards them. Another big advantage is your valuables are protected under lock and key.

Pedestal Stand

February 13th, 2014

Pedestal stands are great for use in museums and galleries. Valuable objects can be scrutinized up close without being touched, and they also stay protected from dust or tampering by being under lock and key. While we sell a nice variety of pedestals both illuminated and non-illuminated, consider trying out one of these display cases in the home! Your interior decor can take a giant leap in style and sophistication! Dramatically lit art objects highlighted in your house are a definite head-turner.

Locking Curio Wall Cabinet

January 31st, 2014

Beer cans are nothing new, having entered the scene way back in 1936. However, one man's trash is another man's treasure. What was once meant to be consumed and thrown away, vintage beer cans command high prices amongst collectors. Some can be quite valuable, so a locking wall cabinet for display and protection is a good idea. We sell a number of these in a few styles, including cases with or without shelving. The solid wood frames are available in black as well as many fine wood finishes. The tempered glass shelves can be adjusted to fit whatever your collection requires. Display your collection with pride in an attractive curio case!

Dust Covers for Baseballs

January 17th, 2014

There are as many sizes of acrylic dust covers as there are collectors! What do you collect? Sports memorabilia? Models? Basically anything that's small and worth displaying could use its own dust cover. If the object is at all valuable, then it should be covered by all means. Most styles feature a clear lift-off cover fabricated from acrylic plastic or injection-molded polystyrene. The base, which is where your objects are placed, is usually made from black plastic or wood. Most people buy these display cases to protect sports balls, model cars, trains, and planes.

Heirloom Quality Cabinets

December 30th, 2013

High qualitycurio cabinets are treasured pieces of furniture in any household. Their style usually evokes traditional handmade furniture, with carved wood mouldings and deep, richly stained finishes. People like to display antiques and collectibles, while others like to change what's displayed to reflect the changing seasons. These display cases fall into the heirloom category, meaning they are valued enough for the older generation to pass them down to the younger ones with the intent that they remain with the family. And it's not hard to understand this. These upscale cabinets make quite a statement while showcasing your valued possessions.

Build-Your-Own Cabinet

December 12th, 2013

We stock a large variety of narrow tower showcases designed to be placed within the floor plan for all-around viewing. Most come fully assembled and ship via freight truck. Shipping costs increase the further away you live from our warehouse, so we came to the realization that if we could ship a display case unassembled it would save you a sizeable chunk of change. These are very popular with our customers, especially when they can receive the shipment by normal Ground service. An affordable alternative to more expensive models and assembly takes around 10 minutes! Cabinets for display never had it this easy!

Memorial Flag Cabinets

November 26th, 2013

Honoring a fallen veteran is the most important ritual a family can do for their loved ones. Traditionally, the casket is draped with an American flag, which is then folded into the familiar triangle shape by a representative of the deceased person's parent service. It's this flag that acts as the symbol of the veteran, and families like to display it in a decorative flag showcase. It doesn't matter which branch of the military the veteran belonged to, as all veterans deserve the same respect. Our handsome display cases handle these responsibilities, no matter what type of object is displayed behind the glass.

Display Cases with Mirrored Backs

November 14th, 2013

Three-sided display cases usually feature a mirrored backer. While this may not sound like a big deal, without it the overall presentation would be seriously lacking. First off, these showcases are almost always placed against walls for obvious reasons (there's nothing to see from the back). Adding a mirror inside the rear of the case opens up the viewing field because it reflects the room around you. It also reflects what's being displayed inside the cabinet while providing a rear view of the objects. Mirrors draw people's attention and catch the eye, something every retailer strives for. But these quality show cases can also be displayed in the home to highlight fine china, antiques, trophies, and collectibles.

Display Case with Expensive Items

October 31st, 2013

Pedestal cases provide a different viewing experience for the customer. How? Well, if you look at the one pictured at right, you'll notice how low the cabinet sits. Displaying merchandise at waist height allows the shopper to inspect items from above. Unlike standard tower displays that reach heights of six feet, lower pedestal showcases give viewers greater visibility from all sides, including the "directly above" angle. This is actually a subliminal technique in Marketing 101. Anytime a customer can see something he or she wants while looking down at it, increases the chance they will buy it. Just something to think about the next time you are browsing inside a retail store and happen to notice the wide variety of display cases used in their floor plan.

Retail Display Cabinets with Customers

October 15th, 2013

When it comes to selling expensive items, including jewelry and electronics, you need a balance of security and presentability. Lockable cases accessed by trained employees protect your investment, while glass counters and faces let customers see your merchandise clearly. These illuminated showcases are not only necessary but they also come in modular shapes for designing your own store layout. Corner modules connect with rectangular cases in many possibilities! Create a wraparound setting with employees inside, run a stretch along a straight wall, or use angled setups for a more inviting effect for customers to experience upon first sight. It's all about projecting professionalism, and these fixtures provide just that!

Model Dust Covers

September 24th, 2013

Smaller dust covers and cases fill the need when displaying valuables, sports balls, or models. When a full-size floor case would be too much, opt for a single cover to protect one object! Additionally, these smaller selections provide more display options because they can be placed on mantles or in bookshelves. Simple lift-off dust covers are available, including enclosed cases that lock which prevent people from access to your favorite collectible. These selections make up a small part of what we are about, but it’s an important part. Be sure to learn more about what glass curio cases can offer your home or retail business.
